GiveNOLA Day, an initiative of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, is a one-day online giving event. For 24 hours, everyone who loves the Samaritan Center can support our mission by donating. Early Giving is April 28—May 4.

What is The Samaritan Center

The Samaritan Center is a Christian organization offering emergency assistance with food for those in our community who are in need.

Limited assistance for utilities, rent/mortgage, transportation, & medicines may be provided in some circumstances.

It is our hope that with God’s grace we may be able to assist those people in need on their path back to self-sufficiency.

The Samaritan Center is in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank which serves  South Louisiana, who is a member of Feeding America.
