Donation times: 9am – 1pm on Monday – Thursday.
Donations cannot be received on Friday, Saturday or Sunday and holidays.
Because of our size, we cannot receive some items. We appreciate your help in ensuring that your donations are items we can accept.
We can receive lightly used and new items (clothing, household items, jewelry, etc).
We cannot accept: mattresses, computer equipment, child car seats, or large furniture.

About Gran’s
Gran’s Attic is a beautiful thrift shop located on Girod Street in the heart of Old Mandeville. The proceeds for the shop are used to support the Samaritan Center, a food bank and ministry which helps residents of Mandeville, Lacombe, Madisonville, Covington and others in the West St. Tammany area who are experiencing emergencies.
In 2003, a new addition to the shop was dedicated to volunteer Gretchen Pennybacker, who was instrumental in starting the program in 1989.
Gran’s Attic Thrift Shoppe is a program of the Samaritan Center. It is located right next door and is open to the public.

Gran’s Attic receives seasonal clothing donations, household items, linens, jewelry, collectibles, shoes, handbags, artwork, and other items. These donations are marked for resale at very reasonable prices. Our store is clean, our merchandise is of excellent quality, and our staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful.
