The Samaritan Center is a Christian organization offering emergency assistance with food for those in our community who are in need.
Limited assistance for utilities, rent/mortgage, transportation, & medicines may be provided in some circumstances.
It is our hope that with God’s grace we may be able to assist those people in need on their path back to self-sufficiency.
The Samaritan Center offers the following programs for short-term and long-term needs.
The 24th annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger®
Food Drive was on Saturday, May 14.
We were praying that this year's drive would be the best ever... and it was. The Samaritan Center received over 24,000 pounds of food.
Watch and listen to the local media who helped make this food drive so successful, especially Lake 94.7 and Heath Allen on WDSU Channel 6.
